MOFE is a statewide advocacy organization committed to protecting and strengthening Montana’s public schools.
We believe that strong public education is the cornerstone of a healthy democracy and a thriving economy. We work at the intersection of education, equity, and civic engagement to ensure that every child—regardless of geography, income, or identity—has access to safe, inclusive, and well-funded public schools.

MOFE PAC

When Montanans Organized for Education was founded in the fall of 2019, our goal was to protect public education by advocating for necessary funding and services and fighting those who would funnel our scarce public resources to unaccountable, for-profit institutions. Unfortunately, it became obvious in the fall of 2021 and early 2022 that we would need to do much more at the local level.
​
Therefore, we started a Political Action Group to support pro-education candidates first for school board trustee positions and to help local school districts to pass crucial bonds and levies.
​
We have had great success in helping to elect pro-public education candidates to school boards across the state and in passing crucial levies and bonds. School districts are continuously reaching out for help, and we can't let them down.

Montana Loves Public Schools is a public information campaign with the goal of fixing Montana’s school funding formula. The campaign is mobilizing understanding, bipartisan support, and legislative action to leverage the Decennial Study process and build a public education system where every child, regardless of zip code, income, or background, will thrive.
